Intro
Let’s go I made my final payment of $14.05 to Citi. This cleared the little interest that accrued from last month. The snowball will be moved on to the next Citi card that has a current balance of $1,387.98. Once this is paid my relationship with Citi will be over. I am sure they will miss my monthly contributions to the company but I have to move on. Sorry Citi it’s not you it’s me.
Snowball
The snowball is still going amazing every time a payment is thrown I get excited watching that debt total shrink.
The budget is going ok we had to tighten the reigns on the grocery budget. The wife and I have been coming together to eat more of the same things and for the staple meals lunch and dinner. I have been prepping dinner and she makes dinners.
This system has been working great for us so far. We are also getting more aligned when shopping for grocery items. We have been splitting the grocery bills of late. We opened a checking account to pay for grocery and other expenses.
Side Hustle
My spouse gave me her laptop as a gift. I already had an iPad I used as a quasi laptop. Since they both basically served the same purpose I decided to sell the iPad on Facebook Marketplace. I went with Facebook instead of eBay because I probably could sell for more on eBay but with fees I would take home less than with Facebook.
One downside I realized using Facebook Marketplace for shipping sales is you don’t get paid until 5 days after the item is marked as delivered. This is a minor inconvenience also the whole process of shipping is kind of stressful but I guess it is the same as any other online shipping site. The iPad is currently is marked as delivered so know we just wait for the payment to clear.
I also sold several other items on Facebook Marketplace and I should get that cash to put towards debt next week. I also discovered to storage bins in my closet that I was guess over looking every time I went through the closet. there should be some more clothing items to sell in there so that is exciting!
I have a mantra a say to myself when I think of selling more things basically 20,000 sales of $1.00 items and we are credit card debt free so keep selling! With this mantra any thing I can sell is basically getting sold! We are gonna clear this debt soon enough!
I want to get some t-shirt designs up on Amazon March this weekend. So hopefully I make some designs that sell.
The Debt Progress instagram is getting a little traction with followers I switched up the hashtags and found a few new people. I was talking to myself over there for awhile. I have been linking up with some like minded pages.
I also purchased the two books below to get some inspiration and ideas for side hustles in the future. So far I have heard some amazing stories of people with day jobs creating amazing side hustles.
